Is there any reason for a recent sudden increase in the number of men visiting beauty salons for facials?

The beauty salon where I work has been getting loads of guys coming in for facials over the last two weeks or so.

Up until the end of last month, I'd say I got maybe one guy a week having a facial. Then it suddenly jumped to four or five per *day*.

Does anyone know of a reason for such a sudden increase? Has it been featured on a TV show or something?

The weird thing is that a lot these new guys have obviously never had a facial before and seem to think it should involve the beauty therapist (me) sitting on their face. Needless to say, that has not been a common request up 'til now :)Is there any reason for a recent sudden increase in the number of men visiting beauty salons for facials?
i think men are more concerned now about aging. for me as a example i use daily facial creams hoping to avoid some unwanted wrinkles. i will also watch tv shows that will explain the uses of different products and healthy diet and exercises.i think you are seeing the modern day vain man as women have always been.Is there any reason for a recent sudden increase in the number of men visiting beauty salons for facials?
i noticed too, think guys are living up to the stigma of society how to look good ect. Who can say that advertising does not work
It's becoming mroe socially acceotable without people laughing
Must be global warming...or solar flares.
I think they had a feature on skin care in Maxim.
lol. so ure havin fun or do u wana get rid of them?
More men are admitting it on TV. More women are dragging men to salons and they find they like it.

Now lets work on those pedicures.
