p.s also ur face might be red afterwards ..but make sure u dont use make up straight after bcoz the pores are opened.

I did beauty therapy for a while in college until i got sick of it but we did a basic facial starting off that i commonly used





You start off with a cleanse to remove makeup if any and cleanse deep into the pores





next you tone the skin which removes oil and grease and removes cleanser and excess makeup this also temporally closes the pores





Next you use a scrub if desired.. you scrub the skin to remove to remove dead skin cells and oil and dirt deep in the pores





Next you steam your face if desired, just get a bowl of hot water and a towel put over your head and put your face over the water for a few minuets to open up pores so you can get draw out dirt and impurities deep in the skin, also if you have and blackhead or spots this is the best time to get rid of them with a tissue





Next you use a mask if desired, the mask used is usually depending on your skin type, dry, oily, combination ETC and then wash it or peel it off (according to the type of mask)





Then always moisturize at the end, this is the most important no matter what!, and the only way to get the full benefit of a moisturizer is to make sure you Always always always cleanse your skin first!





That's what i was told and had drilled into my head and i soon got into the routine at home and you know what my skin has improved dramatically, so i guess staying in beauty for a few weeks didn't hurt :D
